How to request deletion

Send a deletion request from the email address you registered with to locus@acquisizioniforensi.com, with the subject "LOCUS account deletion request". For your security the request must come from the account's email address, so we can verify ownership.

We will action the request within 30 days and send you an email confirmation.

What data is deleted

• your account profile: first name, last name, email address, password and preferences;
• the registered devices linked to the account;
• the telemetry/diagnostic logs linked to the account;
• any unused slots (remaining credit is voided and is non-refundable).

Data we may retain (and why)

• Accounting records and invoices: retained to meet legal and tax obligations (in Italy, typically 10 years), as required by law, kept separate from service usage.
• Forensic acquisitions already generated and delivered to you: the bundles are in your possession (downloaded/received by email/PEC). Any copies and metadata held on our servers are deleted on request, unless retention is required by law or by ongoing proceedings.

Account deletion is permanent: deleted data and remaining slots cannot be recovered.
